Exclamation Front Left Popping

For a while now Ive had a pop on what seems like the front left wheel area. I notice when I turn left into the drive way slow and fast and when I back out of the drive way. Ill hear it when I pull to far forward and bump the left tire into a parking stop as well.

I have already changed both front wheel bearings as they when out earlier this year.

Just a little stumped, only 1 pop. The guys who do my alignment said everything appeared fine but who knows.

Where should I start?

Jack the left side up. Pushing wheel side to side there's a little play and the rod in the middle there makes a "bump"

Could that be because it is upside down?

interesting. ive never noticed it being upside down. should have anything to do with the lift on it. i wonder what it would do to the alignment if i flipped it right side up??

You'll need to get it aligned again and probably replace the tie rod since its been popping

Most lifts make the Steering linkage bolt in from the top. Had to do the same thing when we lifted my buddys Chevy 6". It won't go in from the bottom due to the shape of the joint and the channel left in the Knuckle for it to go in anyways.

I was confused as to why it wouldn't fit from the bottom on the new steering knuckle but then I tried it from the top and it fit like a glove.
