Default Front End Issues

I have a 05 F150 Lariat SCrew at 70,000 miles with 20" rims and 34" Goodyear Wrangler tires on it.

Initially, it had a squeaking noise coming from the front end. I had to get the upper and lower ball joints replaced on the and it was supposed to be aligned.

Seems the squeaking was fixed however when turning hard left it pops a few times and then pops when straightening from the turn. Does not have the problem when turning right.

The garage I got it fixed at says there is no problem. I am sure there is. Any thoughts?

Your truck should not pop when turning. Could be your steering shaft u-joint.

Could it be the sway bar end link? I crawled under the truck without jacking it up and it appeared to be SLIGHT play in the drivers side end link and none in the passenger side. Also, since it only makes the noise when turning in one direction i wonder if this might be it.

I hope it is something this simple.

problem fixed....passenger side ball joint. Was popping in and out of place. wish they didn't have an aluminum control arm and steel ball joint. got a ball joint from a different manufacturer and it seated much better.

haven't had the problem yet.
