Default front center seat question

is there a way to or has someone came up with thier own idea to make the center front seat adjust. im a tall guy 6'5" so i put my seat pretty far back. my wife likes to sit in the middle but the seat sits so far in front of me. plus there isnt alot of leg room. any ideas would be helpful. i searched a few differnet ways. but this iraqi internet sucks. thanks in advance guys

I dont think theres a way to do it without putting some effort into it.
To hold the seat frme in place, there a five bolts that go down through the floor and screw into welded nuts under the floorboard. I suppose you could relocate those five bolt holes by redrilling them but you would have to get under the truck and hold the nuts to tighten everything down. I guess another option would be to relocate the frame by making brackets that bolt to the original floor holes and then bolt to the seat frame a couple of inches back. Thats probably the approach I would take.
Pull straight up on the front of the cushion, it will unclip, then pull straight forward to remove the cushion, you will see the bolts that hold everything to the floor.

Know a welder? Buy two sliding rails (easily bought from Summit Racing) used for rods or mounting custom seats to vehicles, weld them to the brackets on the center seat, bolt the rails to the floor; you'll have a sliding front center seat/console.
