Front Brake Upgrade

Really? I couldn't find EBC RedStuff brake pads for my truck at all, and I am very well connected. Do you have the Heritage model?
I have been running cross drilled and slotted rotors for years, on various vehicles. It's not the cross drilling that causes issues, it's the casting quality that is the most important thing. The quality of the cast is reflected in the price as well as the standards it is assigned. Highest standards are Euro based UK DOT and German TUV. You can get cheap cast rotors here that meet ISO specs but are barely at OEM specs, and these will eventually crack and warp. You can pay triple the price and get UK DOT and German TUV spec rotors and they will last much longer and take far more abuse. I have seen cross drilled and slotted rotors for my truck for as cheap as $80 a rotor! As mentioned I won't get into the details about the price that I paid for mine but I paid well over double, close to triple that cost for each rotor of my brake upgrade. My rotors are from AP, which is well known in Europe for it's racing and competition brakes. Whether it's dimpled, slotted, cross drilled or plain, the quality of the metal is far more important than the cooling design. When it comes to brakes, you get what you pay for.
i had ROTORPROS dimpled and slotted rotors with PFC carbon metallic pads on my 03. great combo, but like tradesman said, pretty noisy. also, performance increased the hotter they got.
tradesman, have you had any problems with your rotors cracking? i did alot of research and found that drilled rotors are actually slightly weaker and are more prone to cracking than dimpled rotors.

Dear sr. Tradesman, I'm reading the post he had published in 2012, you indicate that you buy rotors AP Racing, I've been looking a long time for a specific model for the F150 FX4 2007 and can not find anything definitive, only BIG BRAKE KIT and other 14 "bore which, if I can not use it because I have rim 17". Could you be so kind as to guide me a little about what I buy?. Thanks and sorry to bother.

Translation:
He's looking for an upgraded rotor setup for his 2007 Fx4 but doesn't want to go to a big brake kit because he only has the OEM 17" rims.
