srry, his oil hose that goes to the oil cooler broke somehow. Two days before this happened he said that his dad was riding the e-brake for like a hour and that might of caused alot of stress on the engine. He towed it to a Ford dealer and they also said a tranny hose broke also. The level he got was done by a shop so i think they had something to do with it.

I know nothing of these trucks so bare with me. I just work on my lil 4cl turbo engine (4G63 Evo 8 MR) XD Anyway i kept on telling him to drain the oil to see if their are any metal scraps, if not then replace the two hoses and done. But no he had to take it to the dealer so they are going to *** rape him for repair and such. This happened just 3 days after he spent 3k on new monster 18x13 rims, wheels, and a 3" level. Oh he has the towing package if that makes any difference.

Unless the truck was really low on oil it shouldn't be harmed. These trucks cut off when they get low enough on oil. Do oil coolers come stock on these trucks? Mine doesn't have one. And yes the dealership will probably charge him a ton.

Would the engine light come on? He said that their was no CEL nor did his oil gauge say it was low.
