I found a set of 285/70/17 Bridgestone Revo's for 280. They had 5k miles on them, but they looked brand new. I had to drive 80 miles there and back to get 'em, but it was worth it. Craigslist is a great place to find stuff.

Hell yeah, the bigger tires make it look better from all angles. I love how it gives it that wider stance from the front and back.

I like the way it looks but i'm also trying to decide if i wanna do anything with the suspension. If it rubbed in the front i was going to level it out by raising the front, but no rub so i don't really wanna do that. i was thinking about droppin the back and having the tires fill in the wheel wells more (cuz that's what i really like) or leaving it the way it is.... i'm not sure what i want to do with it yet. any input or pics would be awesome if someone's done somethin simliar already with their truck

of course the first thing on my list should be a good washjob... i should be burned at the stake for how dirty it is right now : (

I have an extended cab 4x4 stx and needed new tires but wanted rims also later. The problem was my uncle owns a tire shop and the daytona timberline at's only come in a 265 as the widest width for a 17, but i could get them at cost from him for 450. But if i wanted to get custom wheels the tires would of looked to small and i would of had to get new ones again. So i got on craigslist and found 4 285 65 18 bf good AT's with the factory FX4 wheels with supposedly only 2500 miles on them, the guy bought 22's. I went and looked and the tires still have the "hairs" on them and the little rubber tags in between the treads. Look brand new. I ended up getting the wheels and tires for 400 bucks and they were only fifteen minutes away. Very happy with the purchase.
