Default Frickin excited

So what started as a terrible ordeal turned into a fantastic thing.

Last friday (yeah friday the 13th), I finished grocery shoppin and headed to the house. Pulled up at a light and waited for the green. Green comes so I throw it in first and pull forward but the truck's jumpin like crazy. Music was loud so I though maybe i'm spinning my tires?. So i let off and try again and truck's jumpin like crazy still. Pull over and I have a flat. It was ridiculous. Pulled up to the light... four fine tires.... leave the light... one flat....

Long story short tire had a two inch slash in it from some metal so with some searchin I found some tires on craigslist (life saver) and had to drive to Spring from College Station to get em. Wound up pickin up 4 Goodyear Wrangler 285/70/17 for $300. These things still have the hairs on 'em. I'm gettin them put on tomorrow. Pics to come. Hope it looks way better than the stockers i'm rockin right now! hahaa

I always check craigslist first. I found my tires on there for $400. I had to drive about an hour to get them but for 75% Nittos its worth it.

Honestly, craigslist is a pretty awesome thing from time to time, its usually very local, cheap, and can save you a lot of hassle...Just be carefuly when picking stuff up in person, I always take a friend, and keep a weapon in my truck...Its amazing what some people will do for even a small amount like $300

I really like craigslist and use it a lot, sometimes you can find some really good deals on items you're looking for.

Congrats on the new tires.

Truck looks so sick. I mean, yeah it's still stock everything else. But the tires lifted it up about 1.5 - 2 inches and I can tell just sittin in the truck. They fill out the wheel wells so nicely and best of all.... NO RUB! absolutely NO RUB. pics to come tomorrow. Like I said, rest of the truck is pretty plain-jane, but these tires make it look so much better to me! haha

It's actually pretty amazing what adding just a new set of rubber will do for the looks of these trucks. Can't wait to see the pics.
