ATOM is right IMO, bought a used vehicle, warranty expires, truck breaks..... end of story.
But it sounds like you have the knowledge to fix it yourself, probably won't cost you a fortune, just do it............
the upside is you'll "bond" with your truck.

To finish up this story they paid for the repairs they found that another ford dealer did not do a tsb that would have prevented this problem also FYI this tsb was for replacement of the hub vaccumm solinoide the origanal valve does not have an rain cap and allowed water to enter iwe through vaccumm line this is according to this dealer they said the iwe were full of water
