Ford Man 14821

I have a friend who is looking into buying a Toyota for some dumb reason. The specs page on the toyota website is very detailed and specific and the specs page on the Ford website...frankly, it sucks!

My question is, does anyone know where I can get reliable, detailed specs for a Ford F-150?

Also, does anyone know of any common problems with the toyotas with the 5.7L?

The major problem with toyota is spelled T-O-Y-O-T-A.

Its a pain in the *** to work on is the biggest problem. A buddy of mine had a Toyota pickup. We were standing outside of the shop and the truck stalled. No noise no nothing it jsut stalled. He tried to re-start it and it would not turn over. We found that it slung a rod sitting idling.

I wish I could rember the site that I was on recently that had 41% of the Toyota owners mad and complaing about their purchase of the new Tundra. It was motor problems, vents not staying put, tailgats that dent if you stand or load things on them, bad shakes due to harmonics or something with the beds/shocks, torque converter problems, wheels out of spec. can't balance, etc.etc. Tell your friend to check before he buys.
