yea i got a 95 eclipse gtx and it is really fun to launch at 4k even tho not smart but 0-60 is fun, the top end is not all that good only got it up to 125 on a 2 mile strate cuz it is just stock right now. but looking to get 300hp by end of year. what ur dad got done to the gt? cuz all the tests i have seen on the 2 the sti is faster all the way. stock to stock

and top on a 95 is 130's governed, 1g's are 144/145 on the manual tranny, not sure about the auto...
and 300 hp isnt hard...but try and get 250 frist...the 7 bolts are harder to get power from due to tuning, the computer is more sensitive

yea i came from a 93 mr2 turbo that had to sell but this is my 1st dsm i got big evo3 turbo set up manifold turbo o2 apexi gt down pipe and catback coming by end of summer im thinkin that should get me to 230 then fule Ignition Setup and cpu by end of year im hoping can get to 300 with that. then going to start workin on suspension. its got a fresh rebelt trans, rear and engine and got it for 5k then my dad just got a 91 talon tsi with a bad trans that we are going to make in to a drag car

he's got a totally stock 08, and i think the couple he's gone up against wher probably 05-06ish. i know the newer ones are like low 13's, which is incredible for a turbo 4 cyc i think. Im taking my dad to the track next week to see if his stang can keep up with my tundra, hopefully not the other way around. Hes stock im not so im hoping i can beat him, even if its by an inch.

o yea and a front mount intercooler
i think thats about all im going to do for performance. less its just not enuff, then 6 bolt stroker and there is no end for that engine

thats kool. if u run a 9.17 in the 8th u should take ur dad thats pritty fast i think. i had a stock 93 mr2 about 5 years ago and i eather ran a 9.01 or a 8.01 but i thinkin it was a 9.01 and that car was really fast for stock

wally 255, the rails are good for a long time, the filter is a toss up, its ok for now but you can get one for later, its up to you, and 550s are good for now, aeromotive afpr is a good call, but also get a fuel press gauge...
ssac fmic is the best bang for the buck imo

Either way, if i lose, oh well i have a truck, he has a sports car, If i win, my truck beat his sports car, so its a win win situation.
