Default Fog Lights behind the grille?

Anyone here talented enough to make up a few brakets to mount some fogs behind the honeycomb on a 2004 and up?

I've seen the pics on here of some who have done it...
I'm just wondering if anyone could make some up for a reasonable price.

Get some plexi and heat it to flex. pre-drill your holes, and you should be able to make your own fairly cheap.

I still can't decide if I want to take off my brush guard and mount all my lights behind the grille.

or try this. I use clear plexi on a LOT of my hobbies just to make a clean look. keep it clear or flat black, and it's almost invisible. I did the same thing to make speaker mounts in my living room. used clear plexi, and the speakers look like they are floating.

here is a link to more info on a guy who used metal brackets.

I have a horizontal billet grill, not a layover. With two lights behind it, will it make that much of a difference?

Shouldn't. any mount that you make should attach to the interior part of your bumper, not the grille itself.

you would think.

and wouldnt plexi make aiming difficult? or are you using thick stuff thet woldnt bounce around.

and from my hobby experiances, plexi gets brittle in the cold, so you might want to use sometihng else if you live in a cold climate.

Maybe I should have worded my question differently. Will the billet grill block a large amount of light, enough to it would make the lights useless?

No, especially if you go with the CW grille. The bars on it are tiny.
