Fog light keeps blowing
I keep putting in fog light bulbs. At first I thought it was just due to some moisture and it still could be. I talked to the dealership and they recommended to drill a hole in the light to let water/moisture escape. I probably put the hole in a poor place, but was wondering if someone else had any idea what to do. I also was thinking since the bulbs have blown/broke in the lamp that the loose glass is hitting my other bulb. Any suggestions how to remove the glass?
Thanks

Well mine were growning green stuff at the connectors, and going out, but not blowing the bulbs. all I did was clean the connectors and pump them full of die-electric grease.. now no more problems...
So look at the connectors for corrosion, as corrosion builds resistance builds and can cause the bulbs to burn out.

I had a similar issue, turns out I had cracked the light ever so slightly when the bumper got tweaked, replaced the whole assembly.

What bonehead dealer told you to drill holes? That's the worst thing to do, as it allows the fog lamps (or headlight assemblies if you drill holes in them) to fog up for life. Your 2005 has the square housings. I'd buy a pair of used ones off of Ebay, and find another dealership to use for any future service!
