Default Flex pipe

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has used flexible exhaust pipe after the muffler? Trying to be cheap here and thought I could run flex pipe after the muffler to dump over the axle. Right I have a Flowmaster super 40 with turndowns and it's quite obnoxious in the cab, my only problem is the guy that cut off my oem system left about 4 feet I would need to run the pipe. Comments and concerns welcome

Absolute junk, don't do it.

Go to a reputable exhaust shop and get custom piles done to your needs. It shop be much cheaper than you think.

I did. Got some from NAPA. I have true duals dumped right after the axle. After I bent them, I removed them and painted with high temp flat bbq grill paint. 2 years and looks good as the day I did it. I had it dumped right before the axle and you are right, way to loud and waaaaay to much drone.

I have found most of the exhaust shops I have ever been to. Charge you about 15-20 usd per weld. It's practically free money for them

Haven't used it since I was young, but it always broke after a few months. But to be fair is was on a 69 ford pickup with a hot 302. So I sure the vibration was the cause.
