Question Flareside Beds - Aftermarket Fender Flares?

Would love to extend my fender flares but having a hard time finding a set for my step side bed. Would prefer a pocket, textured type, not real deep. Anyone know where I could find a set?

Posted this on all three of your threads haha.. But it does have some useful info.

Unfortunately you will not find any. I tried to find pocket style flares for months with no luck. Called bushwacker and they told me that making a pocket style flare for the flare side would not be financially viable. This is due to the small amount of flare sides in the market. You CAN modify style side flares to fit, I know a member on another forum did it, however they will never look completely clean (even though the guy did a great job). Gaps will always be present around the steps, and you have to trim for the steps and gas lid. Sucks for us. I have an 09, but would still have to use the 04-08 rear flares to make this work.

EDIT here is his write up with pics. http://www.f150online.com/forums/200...check-out.html

Well there goes my plans of buying some... I wondered why I never say any flare sides with fender flares. Luckily our trucks still look better than style sides

We could use the cheap universal ones.. I forget which brand It is but it basically looks like the garden trim.

I couldn't hit the link either.

Dang, that really stinks. Especially since I went with the bigger rubber! Would like to talk to the guy that modified the "Stiff-Side" flares and see if I want to tackle that too.

Yeah, mine's an 09 too. I also picked up some smoked tail lights but the upper bulb socket is "straight" and interferes with the housing - gonna hafta see if they make an angled replacement socket. Yeesch!
