Default Flareside bed swap

Hi all, yall might think this is a waste of time but I really dont care for the flareside bed and would like to swap to a styleside bed. I am curious how hard this would be. I have a black 07 regular cab flareside. Will I need to do anything special or will I just simply need to take my bed and bumper off and put the styleside bed and bumper on?

Im located in Dallas/Fort Worth Texas, so if anybody would like to trade just message me. I know its a long shot but it doesnt hurt to ask. Thanks!

I feel you man. I too have a flareside. Love the look, but it's impossible to find used accessories to fit the bed (toolboxes, caps, tonneau covers, headache racks etc.)... especially on the east coast of Canada.

I like the look also and the fact that they are fiberglass should shave a few pounds off the rear right?

Yeah finding a tool box I like is really hard, I cant just go to my local shops and get one. I also hate the tie downs things on the sides. I was considering fabing up some black ptm plates to cover em but I feel like that would just be a waste of money just for looks.

Not to mention you can't fit anything 4 ft width in the bed....

Had a flare side for about 5 years. Never had an issue. I was always able to find tool boxes and covers if I wanted them........
