Dumb question, but can some please confirm the rear diff size for a 2004 FX4 (new body style)? I think its the 9.75"? Also othen than Mag, who makes a good rear cover?

My 07 is a 9.75". I can't confirm what yours is. The Mag-Hytec is expensive but it's a great cover.

there are two sizes for the f150 depending on your engine

4.6= 8.8
5.4= 9.75

as for another company other than Mag Hytec, I dont know any other ones that are worth it, since i purchased a Mag Hytec and been happy with it.

since you have an FX4 you have the 5.4 trition, so you have the 9.75 rear and 8.8 front. I've heard nothing but good about Mag Hytec
