Default First thing to do to add HP

What is the first thing I could do that would add HP to my truck. I was thinking of starting with a new Air intake and filter that would allow better breathing but is that the best place to start?

An AF1 CAI is probably the best thing you can add to get a few more ponies out of your truck. They come in 2 different sizes for our truck, the 3" and 3.5". The difference is with the 3" tube you don't need custom tuning to run it on your truck and with the 3.5" tube you do. I have the 3" tube on mine even though I have custom tuning, but that's so I can return my truck to stock for trips to the dealership. I put the AF1 on my truck about 2 months before I got my custom tunes and the biggest thing I noticed when I put my AF1 on was the throttle response. It's instant and unmistakable. You push that gas pedal and you can hear it in the engine and feel it in your seat.

If you can afford it I would certainly recommend the AF1 and an Xcal II with Troyer custom tunes.

I agree, a AF1 and Troyer tunes would be a great place to start.

I was wanting the AF1 for my truck, but my wife bought me an S&B intake instead. Even though it was not what I wanted, I could really tell a difference over stock.
