Finally got the truck i wanted! but now i need to upgrade
Here she is... finally went to VA last night and picked her up (10 hour total ride time)
2006 f150 lariat
127k miles
upgrades it has
borla exhaust system
XD 20's on a nice set of grapplers
edge evo CS programmer
double din dvd player
backup camera
LED bed lamp
Rino liner
tonneau cover
What I want to do
K&N cold air intake
fix the headlights/fogs (not sure if they're stock headlights can you tell me?)
Should I go HIDS in headlights/fogs? (want a blueish color or something different)
I want to brighten them i've heard HIDS are bad for stock headlights.
I like the whole halo/projectors light system but heard they're not bright

You can **** away the money in a CAI if you want, but they don't really suck in cold air. The Gotts mod pulls air from the wheel well, which is actual cold air. A CAI pulls it from the engine bay, which is warmer because it's in the frikkin engine bay. That little shield around it doesn't do much. Suit yourself, though.

Now if you want some REAL power, ditch the CAI idea, do the Gotts mod, then put all that saved money into a good tuner and a performance tune.
