Just so I am clear on this, this is the console with the shifter in it that sits inbetween the driver and passenger seat right? If so, I would love to do this to my '04 Lariat. I love the way that looks in the truck. I can't remember a time when I needed the extra seat for someone and I have had my truck for 7 years. I am definately subscribing to this thread and look forward to the updates and pics.

I've got the flow through with floor shifter on my lariat. I would not have bought the truck without it.. Its ergonomically pleasing, and looks very very clean. My 3 must haves when I bought my truck were the crew cab with the floor shifter and 4wd.
Get it done OP, you are gonna love it!!!
Oh yeah, and take lots of pics!

Here is a great thread on it, you can also go to FX4&HARLEY's profile and he has an album full of pictures on the swap.

Yep this is it, if you're looking for some details check out the link I posted up there, as well as his album, the pics are great, and he has a step by step explanation of the swap

Alright, took the day and got the console all mounted up. No electrical or shift cable yet, still waiting on parts, but got the console itself mounted in the truck.
Here's pics!

Jump Seat Removed

Brackets Mounted:

Test fit, with shifter

All mounted:

Will install the shifter, electrical connections, and the custom piece to mate to the dash next weekend.

Also too add, all the holes for bolts were there, reused the holes from the jumpseat in the back, just had to bolt the front bracket down. After that, it's about 10 minutes to connect the rear 12V outlet, and attach the console to the brackets.
Going good so far, I'll post more pics as I progress.
Again, thanks to Tailrace for the help!

ok so whats going on with the gap between the console and the dash? ive never actually seen a completed flow thro before so i dont know what its supposed to look like... my center console has that gap there also but im a column shift so no shifter. i think i might just swap consoles and mount my cb and switches in the hole where the shifter would go. im not a fan of the floor shift, feels too much like a car and not a truck to me.
