Sound like he did a great job and you got a lot of miles left to go.
Drive it for a week and change the oil! Its very good practice after any engine work because dust and dirt DID get in there.

i did not get the bill yet i want to look over it and see just what he did, but all thing considered i did get it inspected and the exhaust manifold was bad and some other small things he ran it yesterday and changed the oil this morning

It stalls and dies when its warm and we go to stop. Doesnt matter if its from highway speeds or we just move acouple feet at the rough idle. If its at highway speeds and I shift into neutral to keep it from dieing it will die if I dont hold the gas for the rpms to stay up.
The dealership went back into the engine when we took it up and they said the tensioners had gone bad and that they replaced both, but when they droe it after it did the same thing. Thats when they took it to ford and ford said it has low oil pressure and thats why the cam phasers arent working correctly. The shop put a manual oil pressure gauge on it and he said it bounced all over the place but never went under the 10-12psi that it is suppose to have?

I did the complete timing gear work, which has made a huge difference.
I have been having stalling problems, since doing this work though, not all the time and not consistently!
I cleaned the throttle body and checked all the connections.
Changed the fuel filter.
Changed all the injectors (170,000 miles).
Its better, but still stalls from time to time but I think it has to be an idle control issue rather than a timing or engine issue? I think I am right in saying the base idle is set until 1200-1400rpm when the cam phasers begin to tension up and adjust the cam shaft position?
I will try re-setting the throttle/ECU set up by disconnecting the battery again?
