Fiberglass cover/cap/lid
Hi guys, I just purchased a 2006 F-150 with the 5.4L. I want to get a used fiberglass cover for the bed but I had a question. Maybe some one here has had the same question. My bed measures approximately 6 feet and 8 inches I believe, inside. Is this what they consider a 6 1/2 foot bed? If so, are the 6 1/2 beds of the F-150 years 1997-2003 the same as my 2006? I found a nice one and it's kind of far to just "go check it out"...and the guy isn't that comfortable measuring I guess. He says that the cover that he has fits F-150 1997-2003 with a 6 1/2 foot bed. Any ideas? Thank you in advance

Different body style, may just be a slight change in the bed but enough that it won't fit.
