Default Fender Flares

Guys I am getting my truck lifted this Thurday (6" Fabtech) and putting a set of 35x12.50 Pro Comp Xtreme AT's on. My truck will primarily be a concrete warrior with an occassional gravel road through in there, no offroading. I am thinking about getting a set of fender flares to protect it from road grime that will be kicked up by the larger tires and that shows up so well on black trucks. Also I am wating to enhance the look of the truck.

Questions are should I get fender flares or leave it stock? If I should get flares which ones? Bushwacker Pocket Styles are the ones I'm leaning towards, but I also like the Extend-A-Flare style and the ATS ones. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

Yeah I have seen those trucks on the other F150 site I frequent, well not the silver one. They belong to a couple of members on the same board. I really like the pocket flares, but they are pretty pricey and don't come painted to match. I have would have to pay another $100 plus to get them painted to match. I have a black truck though and have thought about leaving them matte black, but everything else on my truck is smooth and clean so these would stand out. I just changed out my stock handles to the LT handles to give it an even more clean look.

I can get a set of ATS flares painted to match for $430 so I may end up going that route. What do you think?

yeah, the pocket style flairs.

I was looking at the summit catalog that I got today, and it shows 2 different types of pocket flairs. There was one that said "pocket flair" and one larger one that was called something else.

I think most flairs look good, its up to you which ones.

So I think I have decided on the pocket style flares, but I'm gonna have to save up a few bucks more and will probably put them off until I can afford to have them painted to match at the same time. Now that I have switched to LT handles I don't want anything flat black on the truck.

Thanks to all for their opnions and input.

Yeah especially when I have already dropped almost $6k for a Fabtech 6" lift, 35x12.50r18 Pro Comp Xtreme AT's, 18x9 chrome Helo Maxx 6's, Xcal II with Troyer custom tunes, AF1, LT handles and Pro Comp explorer lights for the bull bar all in the last 10 days. I installed the LT handles yesterday, the lift, wheels, tires and lights all go on this Thursday. I'm expecting delivery of my AF1 tomorrow, but the Xcal II won't come until mid to late April.

Fender flares are gonna have to wait because next priority is family vacation in May.
