Fan belt squeal at WOT shifts after tune.

^^My thoughts exactly^^. I know when and what makes it squeal, so I just don't gas the hell out of my truck and I don't have any issue. Obviously if it does not do it stock then it has to be the tune. If you don't like it, remove the tune.

....hmmmmm....you just said that you both like beating on your trucks, which makes them squeal. Seems like you have your answer dudes.

Of the people on here who report having this issue, how many of us are still on our stock alternator?

The issue is that when it shifts at WOT, lets say 5800RPMs the RPMS drop quickly. This sudden change in speed causes the belt to slip. I had this very issue(mine was more of a chirp) on both of my 2003 F-150 after tuning. A Goodyear Gatorback belt fixed the issue on both. One had 3K miles when tuned the other had 22K miles when tuned so still basically new.

I replaced my stock alternator with a 300 amp when mine died. I also have a gryphon on setting 2. Since installing the new alternator, the belt squeals on full throttle shifts. It never did before. I'm sure the stock 130 A internals were a lot lighter than this 300 A. I do have a gatorback.
