Sounds like they are worried about their warranty. A tuner will not hurt your tranny if used correctly. Gryphon is it's own model. An edge equivalent would be the edge evolution. I had a edge on my old truck for 100k miles and had no issues with my tranny. I had a superchips prior to an edge. Edge is superior in my opinion. As far as a cold air intake, I've never had one. Only did the gotts mod because I never got custom tunes.

Gotts mod is a modification to the stock intake. It cost less than 10 bucks and does a decent job. Look in the useful links sticky. I believe it is in there.

I couldn't find it on there, also with the trans. Just got the truck back and it drives like a charm. Two things, there's a random clunking when accelerating. Then when on the interstate there's a slight grinding? I don't know how to describe it when it let off the gas around 75/80 mph
