Fair Transmission Cost?

Agreed. Depends on the buyer that would take it off your hands. Someone might buy it for that. You never know. Put it on craiglists and just drive it. Keep all your documents about repairs to support it. It would have to be private party. A dealer won't give you crap for it I'm sure.
Oh I know haha, they offered me 3k....
Would you say that 15k would be too high hoping I would get an offer for 13500 or 14k?
I'm in now rush so I'll keep it up for the next few months.
Also, In theory my truck should run for a good amount of time, correct? What else might I want to fix that could go next or some performance items that will make it run healthier... that are worth the investment ofcourse.

What would the wheel bearings run me?

Since it's 4wd not too awful much. The rears are pretty cheap since it is just a bearing and a seal. The front would be a hub swap. Honestly I would leave them alone. You'll know when they fail, and they fairly easy to replace. I changed them all out on my old truck.

Edge or Gryphon. If you want cold air intake you'll want a gryphon from PHP. A intake can lean out your A/F curves especially in a 05. I saw one used on ebay the other day for 250 or so. A brand new one from them is 400. You can get custom tunes from them for 30 a piece if you buy the gryphon from them. If you're not set on a cold air intake, just do the gotts mod. I did it on my old truck and noticed a difference.

So the transmission place told me they wouldn't put a shift kit in, nor would they suggest that I add a chip to the truck...
Also, which edge/ Gryphon would you say? I heard some about superchips but it seems kind of stripped down of my options.
I'd like to get a cold air intake for the right price, have you got some links to some suggestions?
