Default Failed Blend Door actuator

Just replaced my blend door actuator, and wanted to post in case anyone has my symptoms. Searching the forum helped me find the problem to begin with.
2008 f-150 Lariat Automatic Climate

I had cool air, not cold how it used to be (tried manually settings and no change). Also, no heat at all. Ran the auto climate diagnostic and got code 22 66. Googled it and found it meant Blend door circuit failure. Took the actuator out and no movement at all when adjusting temperature. Got a new one from dealer (55$, couldnt wait to hot in TX).

Everything is working perfect now..and no more error codes!

I am having the same problem. Would you be able to tell me how you got at the blend door actuator? Is it behind the glove box?

Jut got done doing this. Other than one of the three screws falling inside of the dash never to be seen again, it seems to be working much better. The clicking and squeaking unless at full lock hot or cold is gone. I don't think being short one of the screws will cause any problems.

Not a lot of room to work in there. Whole process took about a half hour.

I lost the back screw too. I ended up taking one from the bottom of the coil/evap box, and got a some replacements from Pep Boys. That way, i didn't have to take apart the dash again to replace the screw. They had some that were the same, just with a smaller screw head. They work though.
