Default Factory fender flares

I want to repaint the factory fender flares on my fx4. To do so I plan to take them off, clean, and paint. I looked into removing them and it seems like I'll have to cut all of the little plastic pins holding them on. I cannot find anything like them locally. I was wondering is anyone had an idea of what to use of where to look?

Thanks

Interesting. Mine look nothing like either of those. Maybe I'll give them a shot though.

Hmmm, thats exactly like the ones I removed from 2013 flares. The second link has tons of Ford clips, did you look on that website?

Mine look like this http://www.clipsandfasteners.com/mob...de=PAS5429-100

Turns out that website has tons of different sizes of those clips. I'll have to find out what size the factory ones are and go from there.

These are labeled as "ford fender flare retainer" http://www.clipsandfasteners.com/mob...uctCode=A20624

I'll see if that's them, tomorrow.

So you dont have holes in the sides of your fenders? Those are just standard christmas tree push pins. What I showed was for flares that snap into the side of your fenders:

Any auto parts store has the christmas tree pins, I got mine at Oreilly
