Hi, first time posting here, so I hope i do it right. In response you your cruise question- If the truck is drive-by-wire, which i know the 5.4 3v engine is, not sure about the 4.2l, Ford services an accessory steering wheel to add cruise to the truck. The dealer will need to program the PCM, and that is all it takes. Like I said though, if it has an actuall throttle cable, this cannot be done. Hope this helps!!
