Question Fabtech Driveshaft Spacer

I was doing a search on Fabtech Suspensions and came across that their kits come with a driveshaft spacer. What is the reason for this, does it keep the driveshaft from vibrating because of the lift? I was just wondering because I had my Fabtech lift put on my 04 CrewCab a couple a months ago and I went to check under my truck to see if the shop that did my work installed one and it didn't have one. Do I need to take it back and request to have one put on. The instructions on the lift states that it does come with one. Any suggestions?

Put one on. It should be on the front shaft. It helps the angle and allows the slip joint to be in the center of its slip like factory.

I fixed the pic for ya.. I have to apologize. I was thinking the new F150 was like the newer ranger. And you had to have a spacer on the front shaft. I guess you don't. If it came in the kit it needs to be installed. It will cause premature wear if its not there.

I haven't heard of anyone adding the spacer, if anything they usually get a new driveshaft or something. For what you are running you should be fine.

Hummm that interesting. Fabtech doesn't even make a 4" kit for our trucks, or do they?

Unless you use an AAL or larger blocks in the rear I wouldn't do it.
