f150 rattle noise

Thats what it sounds like a chain being dragged for a couple seconds

Take a hammer and hit the tail pipes under the cab, you may have a loose heat sheild clamp or maybe some rocks in between you pipe and heat shield

I tried knocking stuff around. Plus its all new exhaust piping.

If the 4x4 solenoid under the hood hasn't been changed for the revised one I would start there

I replaced the solenoid today and it still rattles. Only In 2wd though.

So it goes away when in 4x4? If so then you will probably be looking for a vacuum leak in the 4x4 system. Could be a line or maybe an actuator?

I have the same issue on my 04. Rattling noise when under load around 80 kph speed especially uphill. Had both vacuum actuators replaced over the last year and a solenoid from an old Ford put in a while ago. I might get a new solenoid and try that first, see if it helps. How did you test the vacuum lines? It's probably my next step.
