your going to need big spacers!!! i have -12 offset and i stick out about 3 inches. +18 is going to be pretty much stock. and just a heads up that raptor suspension bolts up to our trucks no problem. just need custom length axles.

I was told the 06 mounting points for the front suspension will not work that it is not the same size. Because I did find this that I was thinking about doing.

There are several guys on this site that have retrofitted raptor gear to an 04-08 generation F150.

As far as I know there are three major differences:

1) leaf springs are different widths - if you are upgrading just order the right set for your application

2) steering knuckles are different - use Raptor take offs.

3) width of LCA mounting points - you can use a long bolt to locate them via the factory pockets and simply weld new tabs. It 'looks' like the outside tab is close to where the inside tab of the newer arms would be.

I'm not saying it's a total bolt on affair, but my understanding is that whatever modifications are required are so minor that it can be done in your driveway.

RPG has also stated that, with minor modification, their Raptor specific aftermarket gear will work on an 04-08 F150.

There was a thread awhile back where a guy did a complete (body panels and suspension) conversion on a white 06. I forgot to subscribe to the thread and now I can't find it.
