How hard is it to install 8 inch lift versus a 6 inch lift. I want to lift my 06 f150 but havent decided on 6 inch or 8 inch. Currently I have a leveling kit

They are both a lot of work...if you can do 6" you can do 8"

I'm thinking of doing a 6 inch lift and later do a 3 inch body. Good or bad??

Body lifts suck in my opinion, I would just do the height you want all at once

Whats the down side to body lifts? Ive notice its kinda hard to get a decent price on 8 inch lift

Cosmetics, really. The body lift, if not done right will leave gaps between your bumper an two hooks, bumper and body, and will leave unsightly gaps between the body and the frame. A good body lift will cost nearly as much as a suspension lift.
