Whats the backspacing on those rims? I know the guide says 4.5-5.5 and I was planning on running the 4.5 to get it as far away from the inside as possible, then put on some fender flares.

there stock rims and if I'm not mistaken they are 5.5" what I like they don't go past the fenders in jersey a half in past makes you fail inspection although the right fender flares look cool as hell

I know up here there are laws saying how far out your tires can stick, but you usually only get a ticket if you were pulled over for something else. A buddy got stopped for speeding and then ticketed for tint, lift (bumper height), no mudflaps, headlights aimed too high, etc....

I have an '06 with the long bed and the towing package. I put a 3" leveling kit about a year and a half ago and never had a single problem, even with the 4wd. The 35's went on a little while ago, and they rub on the control arms at full extension. I pull a trailer every day, and it's still a beast even with the 4.6. Good luck man
The only rubbing that ever occurs it when the front wheels are fully turned. I used a 4"x4" piece of wood to "open up" the rear wheel wells a bit more to make sure theres no rubbing when its loaded - which is often. I like your truck a lot man - thats exactly what I was looking for, but I had to have the 4wd. I got a hell of a deal on mine so the short cab, 4.6, and manual doors and windows had to come with it. I do a good amount of off-roading, as well as load my truck heavily for work, and I've never had a problem. Hope this helps. Good luck boss
