F150 HD questions
I bought a 2007 F150 supercab longbed this summer and am interested in lifting it and adding a tuner. I've already straightpiped the exhaust and am planning on getting the edge evo when the $$$ gets here, lol.
Does anybody have pictures of these trucks lifted, or even leveled? I recently learned I can tuck 35's with just a level kit. Though with all the heavy duty suspension/towing packages on this truck, I'm worried there will be something that doesn't work with the standard packages. I've already had issues tracking down the 7-bolt rims
Thanks, ak_cowboy

Options were pretty limited. To get the supercab and 8 foot bed you could only get the 5.4 V8, automatic transmission, and 4.10 gears. It also came with a transmission cooler, heavy duty towing package, 17" 7bolt wheels, and E-range tires.
Not sure what trim levels were offered, but mine is the XLT with power locks and windows, basic cd/mp3 player and air-conditioning. I also have a manual transfer case for my 4-wheel drive. It rides a little stiff empty, but not bad.
Its similar to the chevy HD in that it has upgraded towing and payload capacity. 9300lbs and 2800lbs if I remembered correctly.
Basically the largest 1/2 ton that Ford has offered, its equal to the lightduty F250 offered in the mid-90's.

i love it... pretty rare... i would take one in a heart beat.. i use my truck to its full potential and im sure this would hold up better... as i didnt buy another f250 or f350.. i kept my old long bed supercab f350 diesel to use to do the rough work... but i still end up using my new f150...so what did i solve there... haha

Yeah, she's a bit of a pain to park, but totally worth it. I wasn't in love with the 4.10 gears to begin with, but at least I can run 35s without worrying about it.

nice truck getting back to you question with a four wheel drive the rule use to be a 2" level 33" tires a 2.5" level you can get 35's under it but I've also heard that you can get 35's on it with a 2" level with some minor trimming. I have a 2" on mine and I'm running BFG's all terrain TKO's 305/65/R18 they equal a 34.7" tire I get a slight rub at full lock other then that no issues. heres a pic
