It won't go into closed loop!

If you don't know what that is then I suggest you just leave it be.

What are you trying to accomplish?

longer to heat up (shouldn't be an issue where you are)

other then that: you'll have some temp fluctuation whether you're on the highway or traffic.

that's pretty much it.

my ac is going in and out with higher temperature more so when i'm at a light for extended times. once i get back to higher speed, the ac returns. i believe it is my Reverse Rotation Electronic Fan Clutch going out. will be anither week or so before i can get another and install it. so i removed the t-stat to allow more flow through rad in mean time. should be ok?

Do not do it. The engine will never reach proper operating temperature. Long term this will destroy the piston ring/wall seal, and you will be rebuilding your engine.

You know the AC is a separate systems from the engine cooling?

You need to move more air over the condenser coil for the AC side. I would to see if your coils are clean a little bit of dirt can block a lot of air flow.

You would be better off to buy a cheap pusher fan and push air over the AC coil

Take a garden hose to the radiator and condenser it'll clean dirt out and help with cooling and will make your A/C better. Also works on your home A/C
