F-150 Engineering Design Irritation
Last Saturday I tested a set of chains (for snow) on my 2006 F-150. To my displeasure, I found that the chains rub the emergency brake cable housing on both sides. It' pretty stiff so I'm not sure what to do to keep a chain edge from catching and ripping that stuff out. Ford has been making trucks for a long time. How this slipped by the engineering department is beyond me. Has anyone else noticed this?
