F-150 Emblems

The 150 emblems have thick molding/emblem tape with 2 pins in them.
The Oval on the rear is the same, the one on the front un-bolts (on mine at least)
To take off use a hair dryer and goo-off. Takes 5 mins.

Great advice, (the hair dryer and goo-gone). I've had to remove a couple myself, and that's the best way. Here's why, and I know I'm not the only one...
TOUCHLESS CAR WASHES EVENTUALLY WILL BLOW THE BLACK OUT OF THE EMBLEMS!!!

the guy before me just took all the black off the emblems anyways. it looked good for a while but now i want them painted black. but as far as taking them off a heat gun is a little faster then a hair dryer.

Yes it is....but it only takes a few minutes anyways and most people cant use a heat gun so the risk may not be worth it. IMO.

Good to know. Mine are coming off probably next weekend, I'm going to Invert the color on them. What's chrome will be black, whats black will be chrome. Just trying to minimize the chrome on my truck but I do want the F-150 to stick out. I'm also going to search for how to paint the Ford ovals, i've seen it somewhere before but can't remember. You paint them from the inside out if I remember correctly...
