Hello!

Recently my father started working on his car, he got really attached to a Ford F-150 Lariat (2004) and will probably die working on this truck.

He took off the emblems/decals/tags of it to clean them and wanted to find new erm...clips or rivets or whatever it is that holds them in place. I for the life of me cannot find where I can get this things. Has anyone gone through a renovation and know what I'm talking about? thank you!

I thought they had done away with clips. Anytime I've needed any type body clip I went to my local automotive paint store. They have racks and racks of clips.

Just double sided tape is all they use. No clips on 04-08 emblems.

Thank you. When he took it in for some work, he got the emblems glued on and he said it looked like **** so when I tell him it's tape now he kind of rejected the idea. Any erm suggestions on how to convince a stubborn old man that clips don't exist anymore to use doublesided tape?

Double sided tape is awesome. Especially the newer **** they have out. If he doesn't want to go that route, maybe eBay or a junkyard/ pull-ur-part type place.
