Extended warranty.
My warranty runs out on my 07 the 31st of this month. Can't decide if to buy the extended warranty or take my chances.I only have a little over 22,000 miles on the truck in 3 years. The only problems I have had with the truck is warped front rotors which they turned under warranty and the grill emblem started bubbling up and a rattle on the manual 4wd lever linkage which I learned to live with.I hate to spend another 12-15 hundred dollars on a gamble that something will break.I pull a trailer that ways about 2500-3000 lbs 3-4 times a week around town.
I want a new F250 diesel but just can't justify 50+ thousand when this truck is paid for.So my question is would you buy the warranty or take the gamble.

I would go with the warranty. You never know what could happen. Unless you have a good chunk of dough lying around. I would stick with the warranty but it's up to you.

Do you plan on keeping the truck? 4wd can get expensive to fix. I would only want a powertrain extended warranty, tranny, motor, transfer case and differentials.
Mine is an '08 with 14k. I am inquire about extending the powertrain warranty.
