Default Exhaust and undercarrage paint

Recent investment. Painted my exhaust and got a ziebart undercoat. Turned out awesome. Hate rust. Money we'll spent

Looks good man. How much did that set you back? What did you paint your exhaust with?

The undercoat was 700 . They get all old rust off to bare metal. Power wash, steam clean, prime and spray the undercoat. Well worth the money I think. Especially because I plan to keep this truck until it dies. And the exhaust paint I got from advanced. 1200 degree high heat header paint. Was like 15 bucks for 2 cans. Did my whole exhaust up to the cats. Got the spray gun attachment too which helped.

The product is warrantied and you get a service/touch up every year .. But since my truck is over 3 yrs they don't warranty rust because it was already there. But light surface rust you'll be good

looks good man!

another tip ive heard is spray the undercarriage down with some synthetic sealant. thatll help with the salt problems in winter. Michigan winters suck ***. we use so much damn salt. i plan on giving this a try.

i used that high temp paint on my exhaust and it didnt work out too well. that stuff has to be heat treated once sprayed on if you read the directions. mine ended up chipping off. put it on a brandnew muffler, now it dont look like theres anything on it.

Yeah I'm from Nj and the salt here sucks. But I got my truck after 2 winter in Wisconsin. But I'll have to look Into that. And the exhaust paint. Sofar mine is holdin up pretty damn good. I sanded the pipe down to bare metal cleaned it and let it dry then painted it. Holdin up nicely
