Default Exhaust suggestions!

Would it sound like crap if I cut my muffler off and didn't add any pipe to it? Just for a temporary setup until I have time to make a trip to advanced auto parts to get some pipe to straight pipe it

I don't know how it will sound but why not just leave it in place until you go to the auto parts store and get the straight pipe?

I guess I can do that, I just hate anything that has to do with stock!

Might not sound too bad,but your gonna gas yourself out. The fumes will be dumped right under you and probably cause troubles in traffic

When I get bored I unbolt my muffler so it is pretty much like you are describing. It is very loud, but I noticed there is a loss of power when it is disconnected. I haven't noticed too many fumes getting into the cab, but that might be because too much has gotten to me.
