Default Exhaust Question Pt.43208752897986527

Alright...to give you my history before the question.

Every vehicle i have ever owned with the execption of an Accord i had for a couple months has had some form of exhaust on it. My Silverado has straight pipes no mufflers and was un reasonably loud and unpractical but at 17 it was great. My Dakota has had duals out the back, duals out the corner, 2 stock systems and now a magnaflow that appears stock.

Now i just got done reading the 09+ thread and they all seem to think their trucks sound fine with the stock exhaust. Now did they change somthing between 06 and 09 that made them have more tone or are 09 owners just more easily satisfied?

My options are to go with a stock appearing catback system with either a flowmaster 40 series si/so or a flowmaster 50 series si/so. A 40/50 series muffler welded in place of the stock muffler only. Or a system similar to the Magnaflow with a si/do in front of the rear tire custom made with again either a flowmaster 40/50 series.

I don't want ridiculously loud just somthing like my Dakota with a nice tone when gettin on it but still reasonable. This is whats pushing me towards a 50 series with either the stock piping or a 50 series with the side exit in front of the rear tire.

Thoughts from those with any of these set ups?
