AIRAID intake or AFE intake....stay away from K&N even though black beauty will disagree with me on that.......you can get high flow cats, you can get headers, you can get a programmer....there's a lot you can do....BTW a lot of people are going to give you shiz for mommy and daddy buying you a new car for your first I know because I was that kid too, lol..... they're just jealous......lmao

Resident A-hole
I run a K&N and had the chance recently to put 2 other CAI on and they did not add a single HP over the K&N... Dual exhaust will do better for your truck than a SIDO.

I know all these companies have their own propaganda but if you look on gibson's site, they claim more HP and TQ out of the single exhaust rather than the SI/DO I guess something to do with backpressure.....I still like the look and sound of duals on a gasser though.
Which intakes did you try and was it on a dyno and were all variables the same? how many runs did you take?

So there wont be any performance loss due to the SI/DO or true dual setup? Also will there be a problem putting in the true duals if my gas tank takes up most of the drive side on my truck as its a 4.6 2008. Read somewhere that they couldnt put them in because there wasnt enough room under.

If you shop around, I actually paid less than that for mine, but thats only because I know the owner of the shop.....just because one shop was bending you over and saying $600 tell the next shop that he told you $450 and they will try and beat it

i paided 149.00 for my kit shipped to my door, put it on myself in about an hour (not including break down time, god i hate new england climate on metal) and its a sido kit, 3 inch in, 2.25 out, not bad, not loud but its a tone you can tell its there with out the drone, its a turbo style straight through muff, and its all mandrel bent pipe...
