Default Tires for stock FX4 rims

What would you guys recommend for tires on a 05 FX4, no leveling kit, stock rims. I don't want to loose mileage or have any rubbing. Most of my traveling is 10 mi highway 1 mi gravel. But I do hunt most weekends and encounter ice and snow in the winter.

I've been looking at:

BFG Rugged Trail
Cooper Zeon LTZ
Bridgestone Dueler Revo

Anythoughts? I'd like to keep it economical but have a good tire and look good.

Never had first hand experience with BFG, but my bro, and co-workers have said the bfg a/t''s are too hard for good traction on ice.
IMO bridgstone revo's wear too fast.
I plan on doing a 295 procomp when I need new ones, which is soon

Not to completely disagree with the above post but I have heard nothing but great things about the BFG A/T in the snow and ice. My uncle in Minnesota won't run any other tire on his expedition and excursion. I plan on getting a set on my FX4 before I move back up north. I had a set of Pro-Comp Mud Terrains on my Jeep a couple of years ago and I was not happy with the tires at all, I did some light rock crawling and offroading with them and they just did'nt hold up, and the side walls punctured twice before I just replaced all four tires with a set of Wrangler M/TR's

Of the 3 tires listed, I'd opt for the BFG's or Bridgestone's. Now I'm not a fan of either, but they'll treat you nice. Have the Rugged Trail on my F150 now, which they came stock. They have 25K on them and have served me well, but will need replaced next spring.

Well from my personal experience living here in CO, the BFG A/T KO's are the best overall tire I've found on the market. I had them on my '99 Ranger, '99 Explorer and '02 F150 FX4. When I replace my stock BFG Rugged Trails next spring, they will be replaced By the A/T's.

Sure some are more aggressive mud tires, but lack good grip on the road and make tons of noise. Some tires are better on the road, but lack traction when off-road.

The bfg rugged trails are a terrible tire and are useless on anything but dry pavement on a straight road.

Revo's wear fast from what I've read and seen.

Never heard of those coopers.

I put GY silent armours and have been extremely impressed in all conditions this fall. Snow, ice, mud, bush and ditches are no match. Plus they are excellent highway tires.

Well the rugged trails have done fairly well, actually really good in our CO winters. They did great in our 12/2006 blizzard. Can't say much about mud though.

Never owned a pair, but from those I've seen on the road and from people I've talked to, the GY's wear extremely quick.

I had a friend that had Hankook Dynapro MT's. They were great in the mud, but awful in the snow because they clogged full of snow. I used to have Cooper Discover M+S. Those things were great on my old explorer. Now I have whatever came on my new to me truck. I want to get another set of Coopers most likely. I've had great luck with them.
