oo most defiantly angles type of bends and length all factors just like you said! the whole tip convo wasn't directed towards you

well thanks for all the info guys didnt mean to cause a bickering match but from what you guys have said i think i got what i was looking for i am gonna pull the trigger on this in the near future and i will post results. I think i may even do a little experiment having the shop run the stock 2.5 pipe in the location i want then listen for a few days then weld on my larger tip of choice and see if i can hear a change....Far from scientific but i guess some real world testing

Here's my exhaust 3" piping with a 4" tip and a 40 series delta muffler it's not to load when you get on it and low tone on the freeway and cruising hope this helps your decision
