Default Exhaust opinions

Thinking of putting an exhaust on. Came across the brand MBRP and was wondering if anyone has used this brand and what do people sounds the best on these trucks. I want single out the side like the factory.

YouTube is your friend. Tons of exhaust videos there.

I have a dynomax bullet on my truck and I think it sounds nice. Magnapacks tend to sound very good on these trucks.

I like my flowmaster supper 44 single in dual out. Loud when I get on it but no drone until over 2100 rpms and even then its only a little bit. Never bothers me on the highway.

So... do you want a whole exhaust system from the Cat back or you just want to replace the factory muffler and add a tip ??

I was looking for the same thing you are when I got my truck. I looked at hard at MBRP, but ended up going with Magnaflow and very happy with my choice.

I ended up with the Magnaflow 16518 Stainless Steel Cat-Back.

Here's a couple pics. (Please excuse the dirt, it was middle of winter)

I'm going to eventually get a true dual setup with dual Flowmaster 10s and 5" or bigger tips coming out the corners. If you have instagram, look up Bigsexy_F1. He has this setup with long tube headers and it sounds incredible.

The exhaust posted above will be our stock-style exit system. Heres a pretty good video Motorz did that shows the install and before/after sound comparison:

I have an x pipe on my 5.4 straight out the back with 4 inch tips. I love it. It is a very nice aggressive sound. I know that you want a single out the side but I think duel pipes look better and they sound better.

Saw this video thanks. Does Magna flow offer a full polished cat back for the 06 F-150?
