Default Exhaust opinions

So I'm gonna pull the trigger soon on an exhaust. I have an 07 Scab 6.5ft bed with the 4.6L. I'm going with a catback 3" SI/SO. I'm looking for a nice rumble but not obnoxiously loud sound. What's a good muffler to achieve this? Or does anyone know of a website with sound bites of the different mufflers?

I have the magnaflow 18"(I believe) si/so on my 2008 supercab 4.6 exiting behind the passenger rear tire like stock, and at idle it is really nice and quiet, but once you are on the throttle you can definitely hear it, sometimes it is a little much for me but that's just my 2 cents. Also just to throw this in there, when I was in high school I wanted the loudest truck at school and now that stuff drives me CRAZY

I just ordered a MBRP stainless (T409) SI/SO catback 3" pipe with 304 SST tip for $380. Price went up to $410 on amazon. From what ive researched it has same things u and i both are looking for.

Plan on putting it on saturday. Will update on how it sounds.

I did the borla xr1 and I don't regret it at all. Has a nice rumble at start up, quiet at idle, little rumble with light acceleration and sounds great at wot. As there said, check out youtube. I'm partial to the borla sound and everyone has their preference.

I can't say the same I've always been a believer in the saying "Loud pipes save lives" and after my last accident when the guy pulled out in front of me he said he couldn't see me. I thought from here on out if they can't see me they might as well be able to hear me coming. Lol
