exhaust manifold leak
My passenger side manifold leaks and I found that the front lower stud is broken. I probably won't be able to get to it until spring because it is my only winter vehicle. I am looking for advice procedures anyone has done anything like this all help is appreciated. By the way my truck is a 2005 with the 5.4 liter

Pull the inner fender liner out of your way, pull starter off, loosen motor mount, jack up that side and usually there is enough stud to grab and get it out. Not a terrible project. May not have to do all the above but it gives you room to work.

mine leaks too, same side, same engine. I've been ignoring it..usually the manifolds warp so preplacing the gasket doesn't fix it, but does anyone know of a cheap place to get a new manifold? or a good price on a set of shorties that bolt up to where the factory manifolds were?
