Ive been looking at various exhaust lately too and one of the best things to do is go to you tube and type in things like f150 4.6 exhaust and youll get tons of videos of different set ups people have used

The super 40 will be louder and as for power, they are both going to be similar. If you want power go elsewhere other than Flowmaster. They are better than stock, but are more restrictive than other exhausts out there.

having said that, I have the Super 40 and love every aspect of it.

The flowmaster's are not more restrictive than stock. And as for HP differences there will only be a 1-3 HP difference at the wheels anyways so go with what sounds good unless you want that minimal HP gain.

^^^Agreed. I'm more concerned with sound over performance which is why I went with Flowmaster and I love the sound!!!

Original Flow 40 on my truck with a 5.4, sound's great, loud when you hammer down but at crusing speed it's quiet.
