Default exhaust experiment anyone?

i have a 2006 f150 5.4L extended cab 6ft bed (i believe its XLT). Anyways, i saw a harley davidson the other day and i like how the exhaust came out in front of the back tires. has anyone found a way to do this to both sides of the truck? i know that the gas tank is in the way and makes it difficult but i wanted to know if anyone was thinking along the same lines as me before i blindly start tearing stuff up on mine.

I think that is a custom set up. I have never seen a stock F-150 Harley Davidson with a side exit exhaust in front of the rear wheel.

The best way would be relocate the fuel tank to the spare tire area or the bed, then route the exhaust wherever you want...ne,t to that, you could route the drivers side outside the frame rail and use a glasspack or bullet muffler to save space.

I wouldn't mess around with relocating a tank. Those are engineered to be in certain spots in case of a crash, they're well protected.

Saleen S331 does exactly that. I purchased an Edelbrock system that does this, still in the box. Just never got around to installing it.
